Commission for a client of her shiba inu character in a beanie style. I thought it'd be really cute to make him/her all sleepy. I've never done a beanie plush before, so this was quite a challenge. I wanted to keep it simple, but not overly so. It took three plush mock-ups to get the pattern looking like this, and I -still- had to tweak it as I went along with the final product. The character's color pattern really threw me for a loop in terms of laying out pattern pieces. I tried to design a pattern around the character's markings...a very challenging thing to do, I must say. xD
Plush ended up being a bit over 2 feet, so the client got more then what she paid for. But I don't mind, I had fun with it when it wasn't giving me head aches LOL. My brain is practically fried from this one, going to take a couple hours of a break today before I get back to work to try and refresh and rejuvenate my mind.
Plush is made of super soft minky cuddle, and 100 percent hand sewn. So. Many. Small. Pieces. *faint*
