One of the many projects I did with my buddy Cara
during her stay here.
This here is Tarben, my grizzly art doll. She sculpted his face and feet, but I made the rest. Including the pattern. He is fully pose-able, He is over 12 inches long from his nose to his butt, has a lovely weight to him given that his sculpted parts are made out of epoxy. Which makes them very heavy.
His eyes are cabochons hand painted and have lovely depth to them and a lovely chocolate brown. (Cara knows I have a thing for blonde bears, they're so pretty)
His fur is carefully hand trimmed with a pair of scissors to get the desired pile length in all the right areas. I left the fur at his haunches and neck fluffier, I wanted it thicker there.
Tarben is not for sale presently (not sure if I will ever part with him)
